Understanding what is in your pet's food can be tricky. The Son Espace Santé label analysis tool helps you decode bags of kibble and tins of wet food.

How the analysis works

1. Choose the pet

Select the pet concerned to load their details automatically (current weight, age, known conditions, etc.).

2. Physical activity

Describe your companion's activity level (sporty, couch potato, sedentary, etc.) to adjust their calorie needs.

3. Take a photo

Take a photo of the analytical constituents table on the bag to run the analysis instantly.

Key checkpoints

The app highlights the key indicators for your pet's health:

  • Carbohydrate content: calculated by deduction from the other components.
  • Protein-to-calorie ratio (PCR): shows whether the food provides enough protein relative to calories.
  • Calcium/Phosphorus ratio: crucial for puppies and bone health.
  • Ingredient quality: flags vague terms and unnecessary additives.
