The home screen
The home screen is your dashboard: it brings together what needs your attention today. You can return to it at any time with the Homepage button, always in first position in the button bar.
Its content depends on the app: Son Espace Santé and Breeder present your animals one by one, while Shelter and Boarding present the facility's activity.
Son Espace Santé and Breeder
At the top of the screen
- The title shows your name (Son Espace Santé) or your kennel's name and logo. In Breeder, tapping the name opens Identity and contact details.
- The bell icon on the right opens your notifications.
Choosing an animal
The selected animal's photo fills the top of the screen, with its name. If you have several animals, their avatars are lined up on the right-hand side: tap one to show its dashboard. A badge with a number shows how many alerts an animal has.
Tap the large photo to open the actions panel: Open the profile, Add a treatment, Add an appointment and Contact veterinarian.
Quick actions
Under the photo, a row of shortcuts:

Information blocks
Depending on the animal's situation, the following blocks appear:
- Medications to give: today's doses for ongoing treatments, with See all reminders.
- Pending boarding requests: a boarding facility has sent you a stay request for this animal; tap View to reply. See Boarding from the owner's side.
- Attention required: animal Boarding (with the facility's name and dates), Happy Birthday, Mobility score to do, overdue vaccine (marked Late since), or Last meal too long ago.
- Upcoming events: ongoing treatments and upcoming appointments. Tap a row to open it.
- Recent logbook: the last three posts about the animal, with See all to open the journal.
Each card can be tapped: it takes you to the screen where the matter is handled (vaccination record, animal profile, calendar event…).
First launch with no animal
In Son Espace Santé, as long as you have no animals, the home screen shows Welcome! and the Add my first pet button. See Adding an animal.
Breeder specifics
- The Set up your kennel card reminds you of the information still to complete (invoices, public page, e-invoicing, online payment). Get started or Resume opens the wizard; Don't show again hides the card.
- Kennel alerts: litters To declare (LOF) with their deadline, Upcoming heats and Waiting list activity.
- For a female: Next heat (with a countdown of days) and Last progesterone assay.
- Current litters appear in the selector, before the animals, with the parents' double photo. A litter shows its Expected whelping with a countdown, then its Birth and the number of puppies transferred.

Son Espace Refuge
The shelter's home screen presents the activity of the whole organisation as tiles. Tap a tile to show the matching list.
To do
The day's tasks: adoption applications, foster family expense claims to approve, volunteer shifts to fill (with Sign me up), end of quarantine, animals that arrived without a decision, animals that have been waiting a long time (with Share).
Late meals
Animals whose last meal was a while ago, with the Record a meal button. This is the tile shown on opening.
Vaccines
Vaccines soon or already late: due soon or already overdue.
Treatments
Ongoing treatments, with Explanation and Close.
Agenda
Your next events, shown on a month-by-month timeline.
Vet
Opens your vets, or the map to add one if you don't have any yet.
Pull the screen down to refresh the information. The Set up your shelter card is shown until setup is complete.
Volunteer walkers with no other role have no home screen: they go straight to the Planning, and the menu gives them access to Tracking. See Volunteers and scheduling.
Son Espace Pension
The boarding facility's home screen sums up the activity in five tiles:

Tap an animal to open its profile, or a request to process it. When a list is empty, the Add an animal button lets you register a new boarder.

When not logged in
If you open the app without being logged in, the home screen is greyed out with the message Welcome! and invites you to log in or create your account. See First steps.
