The animal profile

Son Espace SantéBreederShelterBoarding

The animal profile brings together everything about your companion: its identity, its indicators (age, weight, heart rate), and access to each section of its follow-up (vaccines, treatments, calendar, journal, documents…).

Opening an animal's profile

  1. Tap the Pets button in the button bar at the bottom of the screen (Boardings in the Boarding app).
  2. Choose the My animals tab, or Shared with me for animals other people have shared with you.
  3. Use Search an animal if needed, then tap the animal's card.

"Incomplete profile" labels

In the Son Espace Santé and Breeder apps, each card in the list shows small labels for information that is still missing. Tap a label to fill in the information directly:

When everything is filled in, the card shows Profile complete. No labels are shown for an animal that has died.

What the profile shows

The Identity card

  • The photo, the name, the kennel name and the official name if it is different. The word Deceased appears on the photo of an animal that has died.
  • The owner's name, if the animal does not belong to you (shared animal, animal in your care…).
  • In the Son Espace Santé app: Born at or Adopted at, with a link to the website of the original breeding kennel or shelter.
  • Badges: sex, species, breed, LOF or LOOF (confirmed or not), test results (DNA / Health), microchip number and passport number.

The indicators

Age

Calculated from the date of birth, shown underneath ("Born on …").

Weight

The latest weight and its date. Add weight if there isn't one yet, History for the curve. See Weight tracking.

Heart rate

The latest measurement in bpm, Add a measurement and History. See Heart rate. In the Shelter app, this block is replaced by the animal's status at the shelter.

Heats (Breeder)

For a female: the date of the last heat, and a tap to record a new heat.

Tracking sections

Under the Identity card, the profile lists the animal's sections. Each row shows a summary (overdue vaccines, ongoing treatments, next appointment…) and opens its own page:

Each section page shows the animal's name, age and breed at the top: tap this banner to go back to the profile.

Shelter-specific information

In the Shelter app, the profile also shows the animal's compatibilities, walking equipment (muzzle, harness…), instructions for volunteers and visible warnings (biter, cannot go out in the park). The contact details of the temporary adopter or the foster family appear when the animal is placed there.

In the Boarding app

The profile highlights the stay: the animal's summary card, current stay (dates, rate, personal belongings, invoices, agreement, owner's contact details), past stays still to be paid and stay history. See Boarding stays. Tracking sections are only shown for animals in your care.

The action bar

At the bottom of the profile, above the button bar:

  • Back, on the left.
  • Action (Shelter): records an outing, a return, a meal, care or a note in one gesture.
  • Update, on the right: edits the profile (see Adding and editing an animal).
  • The … button opens the menu of other actions.

  • Record sent / Record handed over (Breeder): follow-up of the health record handover to the buyer.
  • Get health reminders (Son Espace Santé): offers to turn on notifications so you never miss a vaccine or treatment.

Your animal's birthday

On its birthday, you receive a "Happy Birthday" notification. Tap it to open a festive page with its photo and age. The Share button lets you send this card to your friends and family, OK closes it.

No birthday notification is sent for an animal that has died or been archived.

Tip: to receive birthday and care reminders, allow the app's notifications. See Alerts and tips.
