Statistics
Your pro space automatically calculates your activity's key figures from what you enter day to day: intakes and adoptions for a shelter, boarding days and revenue for a boarding facility. No spreadsheet to keep by hand.

Shelter statistics
The shelter's Statistics screen opens on today's date. The date selector at the top (with the Previous day and Next day arrows) lets you change month and year: tap the date to choose another one.
The year
The Year card compares the year of the chosen date with the previous year:
- Entries and Adoptions;
- Average length of stay (days);
- Return rate (%): the share of adopted animals that came back to the shelter;
- Animals present at year end;
- depending on how you use the app: Volunteer hours, Donations and memberships (€) and Days in foster family.
Cost per animal
The Cost per animal card adds up supplier invoices allocated to an animal, treatments valued from the pharmacy and surgeries. Unallocated expenses are spread in proportion to days present. It shows the Total, the Average cost per animal (€) and the animals that cost the most, with their number of days present. Tap an animal to open its profile.
How unallocated expenses are spread is set in Settings > Cost per animal.
The annual report
The Annual report (PDF) button generates a document for the year, to present for example at your general meeting or to your partners. This button only appears for administrators and members with access to the accounts.
The month
Further down, a card summarises the month of the chosen date: Number of entries, Number of adoptions and the Difference between the two. Then come the list of animals taken in (Entries) and the list of animals adopted (Adoptions) that month.
These figures come from the intakes and departures recorded on your animals: see Shelter animals and statuses and Registers and departures.
Boarding statistics
At the top of the screen, choose the year with the arrows, then the By month or By week view.
Key figures
Days sold
The number of boarding days in the year, compared with last year. Each stay counts the arrival day and the departure day, as on the invoice.
Occupancy rate
How full your boarding facility is compared with your number of places.
Stay revenue
The amount from stays in the year, compared with last year.
Returning clients
The share of your clients who come back.
Active clients (12 months)
Clients who came during the last twelve months.
Average rating
The average of the reviews left by your clients, with how many there are.
Charts
- Days sold: one bar per month or per week, the chosen year next to the previous year, with the occupancy rate for the period.
- Revenue and average basket: for each period, the revenue, the average basket and the previous year's figure (Y-1).
- Requests by type of care: how your requests break down between Boarding stay, Home visits and Day care, if you have received any.
These figures come from your stays: see Stays. Tracking your loyal clients and your reviews is described in Clients and reviews.
As long as no stay has been recorded, the screen says No data yet.
The monthly activity report
In all three pro apps, administrators receive an email on the 1st of each month with the previous month's figures, including on the free plan.
- Depending on your activity, it covers for example stays and boarding days, litters, animals taken in, the amount invoiced and unpaid invoices.
- In a month with no activity at all, no report is sent.
- To stop receiving it: side menu, Organization > Settings > Preferences, turn off Receive the monthly activity report, then Save.
What about a kennel?
The Breeder app has no dedicated statistics screen. You keep track of your activity through your litters (see Litters), your waiting list (see Waiting list), your accounting and the monthly report by email.
Frequently asked questions
A figure looks wrong to me.
Statistics reflect what has been entered: an intake, adoption or stay that has not been recorded (or recorded with the wrong dates) is not counted. Correct the record concerned and the figures update.
I do not have access to the statistics.
Access depends on your rights in the organisation: ask an administrator (see Members and rights).
